Small Flowers Crack Concrete
Sfcc is a trio band from Malmö, Sweden. Its a band with a lot of well treated vintageinstruments trying to create their own kind of dreamy and powerful indie-rock. Erika, Hernik and Fredrik create their music with a lot of love and time over falafel, coffee and fine wine in their studio. Inspired by band such as Blonde Redhead and Sonic Youth they manage to build their own music. A dreamy and close voice, dirty delayed effects collide with a playfull bass and soft, experimental drums. SFCC like to tour and have so far made four different tours in Germany. In Sweden 2007 they supported Built to Spill and the following years they played live a lot. SFCCs first record Build me brand new sky was released in 2007 on the record label, First Take Redordings. People liked the album and good words about the music where written. Their second album, Hide and Seek, will be released on the 25th of November this year, 2009. Its an album with 11 experimental, never-before-experienced- songs about greedy politicians, the meaning of art and the unforgettable and important musician, Elizabeth Cotten. Guestartists like Titiyo, Miranda Gjerstad and Magnus Sveningsson (the Cardigans) are joyining the band on the album.
